Vindec High Riser
1970s British high-riser bicycle from the historic Vindec marque.
The Vindec High Riser was a British children's wheelie-style bicycle from the historic Vindec cycle marque associated with Brown Brothers.
Company history
The Vindec name was already attached to bicycles sold by Brown Brothers by 1922. Brown Brothers' London connection is documented at Great Eastern Street; the Vindec High Riser appeared in the 1970s as the marque's take on the children's high-riser style. A historical account cites a 1981 Competition Commission report noting that Vindec bicycles were then made by Comrade Cycle Company. No current official brand website was found.
