Upland is a bicycle brand offering mountain, road, folding, city, and electric models, with a range spanning recreational riding and performance cycling.
Company history
Upland's own brand story says it originated in the town of Upland in Southern California and has worked in bicycles for about four decades, though it does not give a founding year. The company describes an evolution from hardtail mountain bikes to carbon road models and a current catalogue that also includes folding, city, and electric bicycles. Its present website lists a Tianjin, China contact address, so its California reference is best understood as brand origin rather than current headquarters.
