Thruster

A BMX name linking New Jersey's late-1970s racing scene to today's Kent-backed models.
Thruster is an American BMX bicycle brand with a late-1970s racing heritage and a current range of BMX and urban bikes marketed by Kent International.
Company history
The Thruster name appeared on BMX racing bikes made by Speed Unlimited in northern New Jersey by 1978; its early LSR models were associated with the company's rocket-car racing identity. Speed Unlimited closed around 1984–85. Kent International later adopted the Thruster trademark and now sells a modern line of BMX and urban bicycles under the name. The current brand site is active, while the historical Speed Unlimited workshop was in Wayne, New Jersey.
