Talisman Bikes

Talisman Bikes logo

Talisman was a Canadian bicycle marque of Bicyclettes Universelles and later Talisman Ltd., producing steel road and touring bicycles for the North American market.

Company history

The Talisman bicycle trademark records first use in September 1980 under Montreal-based Bicyclettes Universelles, while Cycles Talisman Inc. was incorporated that November. Industry, Science and Technology Canada reported that Talisman Ltd. ceased bicycle manufacturing in 1989 as low-cost imports intensified competition.
