Swobo

Swobo was a Northern California cycling-lifestyle brand that paired irreverent urban apparel with distinctive single-speed, fixed-gear, coaster-brake, and internally geared city bicycles.
Company history
Tim Parr founded Swobo in San Francisco in 1991 as a cycling-clothing company built around wool, urban riding, and a deliberately unconventional voice. Santa Cruz Bicycles acquired the brand in 2001; Parr returned as a minority owner in 2004, and veteran bicycle designer Sky Yaeger joined in 2006 to create Swobo's first complete bicycle line. Models such as the Sanchez, Folsom, Otis, Novak, Baxter, and Crosby used single-speed, fixed, coaster-brake, or internal-gear drivetrains and restrained integrated graphics for city use. Santa Cruz bought out the remaining interest in 2010, and the Discoe brothers later acquired and expanded the marque with United States-made bicycles and apparel.
