Designer and rider Andy Stevenson formed Stooge Cycles in 2014, launching its first MK1 rigid frame as his own answer to the lack of modern, trail-capable rigid mountain bikes. The one-person business develops geometry and prototypes in the UK and manufactures frames in Taiwan, releasing limited production runs rather than a large mass-market range. Stooge is based in Oswestry, Shropshire, England.
