START

Former Jackson, Wyoming bike-share program operated with BCycle and Friends of Pathways.
START Bike was a Town of Jackson bike-share program in Wyoming, operated with BCycle bikes and local nonprofit Friends of Pathways; it provided short-trip transportation for residents and visitors rather than selling a standalone bicycle line.
Company history
START Bike began as a 20-bike field trial in Jackson in April 2017 and launched its full public program on April 10, 2018, with BCycle Dash bikes and stations. The Town of Jackson later reported that the publicly owned program was discontinued in 2023 after its five-year-old fleet and supporting platform became obsolete and operating resources were constrained. It completed 16,581 trips over its lifetime.
