Scattante

Scattante logo

Scattante is an American house marque created for value-focused road, cyclocross, urban, touring, and mountain bicycles and a range of matching bicycle components and accessories.

Company history

Bikecology introduced the Scattante name in 2001 for complete bicycles, frames, and components before the marque became closely associated with Performance Bicycle. It developed from aluminium and steel value models into carbon-monocoque road platforms such as the CFR line, alongside cyclocross, flat-bar, fixed-gear, touring, and mountain bikes. Performance described the programme as combining race-oriented geometry and frame layup with attainable pricing. Scattante later became one of Advanced Sports Enterprises' owned house brands; after ASE's 2018 Chapter 11 filing, the mark transferred with Performance-related assets to AMain in 2019. The original bicycle trademark registration was cancelled in 2022, and the marque is now primarily encountered through its existing bicycles and parts.
