A Korean bicycle maker connecting generations of everyday riders since 1944.
Samchuly is a South Korean bicycle manufacturer with a broad range of everyday, children’s, mountain, performance, and electric bicycles.
Company history
Samchuly traces its roots to Gyeongseong Precision Company, founded by Kim Cheol-ho in 1944 as Korea’s bicycle industry emerged. In 1952 it became the first company in Korea to manufacture complete bicycles domestically, selling them under the 3000li-ho (Samchuly-ho) name. The company expanded into performance brands including Goldwin, Lespo, Appalachia, Cello, and Black Cat, and continues to serve the Korean market from Seoul with manufacturing and service operations in Uiwang.
