Company history
Founder Stuart Hunter established Roll in Columbus in 2006 after years of running local bike shops. The company drew on that retail experience to design and build its own bicycles to order, emphasizing everyday usability and the local riding community. Roll announced that it was closing its remaining Columbus-area stores in May 2024; the company’s continuing operations and former rollbicycles.com website could not be confirmed afterward.
