Prodeco Tech

Prodeco Tech logo

ProdecoTech was an American electric-bicycle manufacturer that designed, engineered, and assembled commuter, folding, beach, trail, and utility e-bikes in Florida from globally sourced components.

Company history

ProdecoTech grew out of a South Florida electronics and motorsports business operated by Robert Provost and Daniel Del Aguila. Frustrated by the quality of imported electric bicycles in 2007, they began replacing components and researching what North American riders and dealers wanted. Head mechanic Jim Aversa became a partner in 2009, and the three founders established ProdecoTech in 2010. Its first G+ family comprised the Mariner, Genesis, and Storm, followed by broad Phantom, Outlaw, Stride, Islander, and folding ranges. The company emphasized bicycle-quality components, serviceable electronics, and domestic design, engineering, testing, and assembly at its Florida operation while sourcing components globally.
