Bicycle-industry engineer David Earle founded Praxis Works in 2007 to create a component company focused initially on drivetrain products. Drawing on his earlier engineering work at Bontrager, Specialized, and Santa Cruz Bicycles, he built Praxis around in-house design and fabrication expertise. The company is headquartered in Santa Cruz, California, with offices in Taichung, Taiwan.
