Pedersen bicycle

A distinctive cross-frame bicycle design dating to 1893.
The Pedersen is a distinctive bicycle design created by Danish inventor Mikael Pedersen, recognized for its triangulated frame and suspended hammock-style saddle.
Company history
Mikael Pedersen developed and patented the design in 1893 after coming to Dursley, England, where it was made by the Dursley Pedersen Cycle Company. The unusual truss-frame bicycle was produced in small numbers into the early 20th century. Utopia Velo acquired the Pedersen Manufaktur in 2018 and continues the design as a modern bicycle line.
