National
National was the original bicycle marque of Matsushita's Japanese cycle business, the predecessor of today's Panasonic Cycle Technology.
Company history
National Bicycle Industrial was established in 1952 and began selling Japanese-built bicycles marked extensively with Matsushita's National name. The company introduced electric and electric-assist bicycles before adopting the Panasonic Cycle Technology name in 2006, ending the National corporate bicycle identity while continuing the business.
