Metalciclo was founded in Rio do Sul in 1980 and became a major Latin American bicycle-pedal manufacturer before joining with Selle Royal to form Royal Ciclo. Its current catalog includes pedals, cranksets, and kickstands, while INMETRO has certified locally made Metalciclo pedal families since 2014.
