Honda

Japanese mobility engineering with roots in bicycle auxiliary engines.
Honda is a Japanese mobility manufacturer whose early products included auxiliary engines for bicycles; its wider bicycle-related history is primarily in powered two-wheelers rather than a current conventional bicycle range.
Company history
Soichiro Honda began developing engines to motorize ordinary bicycles after the Second World War. The 1947 A-Type auxiliary engine became the company's first original product, followed by the 1952 Cub F-Type and other bicycle-based motorized models. Honda Motor Co. was formally established in 1948 and grew into a global motorcycle, automobile, and mobility manufacturer.
