Chicagoan Mike Salvatore launched Heritage Bicycles & Coffee in 2011, combining a custom bicycle workshop with a specialty coffeehouse. The company builds and sells its own steel city bicycles, with models including the Chief, Daisy, Jane, and Dash. Its original North Side shop is listed at 2959 North Lincoln Avenue in Chicago.
