Hanford

Philadelphia-built, custom steel touring frames by builder Simon Firth.
Hanford Cycles is a small Philadelphia framebuilding marque associated with Simon Firth, known for individually built steel touring and all-road bicycles rather than mass-produced models.
Company history
Hanford Cycles' first frame was documented in Philadelphia in 2011, when builder Simon Firth was developing his own marque after years of framebuilding work with Bilenky. Later rider accounts describe custom Hanford touring frames and direct support from Firth. Firth is also a co-owner of Philadelphia's Firth & Wilson Transport Cycles, whose current workshop sells and services practical city, cargo, and electric bikes; the sources do not establish how many Hanford frames have been built or whether new commissions are currently open.
