Company history
The workshop behind GUYLAINE traces its origins to the 1983 bicycle manufactory founded by Winfried Lieke and Rainer Schefzyk; it began building its own touring frames in 1986. Today Fahrradmanufaktur Schefzyk makes GUYLAINE touring, trekking, and road bicycles in its Ober-Ramstadt workshop, including hand-brazed or TIG-welded chromoly frames and custom-sized steel frames.
