Free Spirit

Free Spirit was a Sears house bicycle marque applied to affordable road, utility, cruiser, and later mountain-style bicycles sourced from several manufacturers.
Company history
Sears introduced Free Spirit bicycles by the late 1960s and used the name through the following decades. Early upright and ten-speed models were imported from Steyr-Daimler-Puch in Graz, Austria, alongside Sears and Ted Williams badging. Later Free Spirit bicycles came from Japanese, Taiwanese, and American suppliers including Murray and Huffy, allowing the house line to cover children's bikes, cruisers, road ten-speeds, and mountain-style models. Sears registered the Free Spirit word mark for sporting goods in the 1980s, identifying the Chicago retailer as owner.
