Firenze was an American promotional-market bicycle label associated with Diversified Investments Corporation and the early Pacific Cycle business, using Taiwan-built road and mountain models.
Company history
Firenze bicycles are documented in the mid-1980s, when models including the GL5000 road bicycle and MT505 mountain bicycle were sold with Madison, Wisconsin branding and frames made in Taiwan. The label belonged to the promotional and novelty bicycle operation through which Chris Hornung built the business that became Pacific Cycle.
