Boo Bicycles
A U.S. bicycle brand known for handcrafted bamboo-and-carbon frames and custom road, mountain, cyclocross and touring bicycles.
Company history
Nick Frey founded Boo Bicycles in 2009 after racing a bamboo-carbon prototype the previous year. Boo developed custom bicycles using bamboo frames joined with carbon fibre; the company’s 2013 announcement described frame fabrication in Vietnam and bicycle assembly in Colorado. Its brand materials emphasize small-scale handcrafted production.
