Company history
Yuh Jiun Industrial was established in Tainan in 1972 and developed Asama as its bicycle brand. The manufacturer expanded into large-scale production of complete bicycles, parts, and electric cycles, serving North American, Western European, and Asian markets and operating manufacturing beyond Taiwan, including Vietnam. Asama refreshed its brand identity in 2017 with a new angular mountain emblem and the Ride in Joy positioning, presenting cycling as enjoyable time between destinations. The company continues to offer city, mountain, road, folding, children's, and electric bicycles under the Asama name.
