Abukuma Bicycle Workshop was founded on April 3, 2010, by frame builder Tomonori Sakata. Its handmade touring bicycles are built in Fukushima Prefecture; a 2021 Japan Bicycle Culture Center profile documents an upright-handlebar touring model and identifies the workshop as Abukuma.
